Ever since Kristen Stewart’s affair with Rupert Sanders was made public, the world has been waiting for Robert Pattinson to make a statement! On Wednesday August 15, that may finally happen as Good Morning America has full access to the star!
A source close to ABC tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that the interview has no restrictions. “Everything’s on the table” for discussion, the source adds.
While Rob will be on the morning talk show to discuss the premiere of his new movie Cosmopolis — a pre-planned interview, most will be tuning in in hopes that Rob will break his silence on the affair!
However, GMA may want to tread lightly, as we all remember what happened when Robin Roberts asked Chris Brown about Rihanna!
Two days before that, Rob will make an appearance on The Daily Show.

Why can’t people just leave the poor guy alone? It’s bad enough that he has to go through it, but to have everyone commenting and criticizing about everything they hear or read. Wouldn’t you want the same courtesy? Breakups are hard, but affair ones are worst!

humans make mistakes and young people in this business it is a tough place. But hounded by by press for your mistake for public news and gossip hard to live past . It is not a unforgivable sin her mistake she is a actor with lots of pressure these too need to work on past .. Up to them to be enough to forgive and work out…Trust is a big deal but they are young in a very toucky and emotional business……

This interview is concerning cosmopolis. It should stay that way. He has never talked about his private life before and hes prob not going to start next week. And @hope: i disagree, he doesnt OWE the public anything. There are some things he should be allowed to keep to himself and if he wants to keep his mouth shut..he can. He is comming on GMA to talk about cosmopolis and thats what hes going to talk about. If he wants to open up about the scandal then he can but he doesnt OWE anybody nothing. I dont know why fans or people think they deserve an explanation for somebody elses actions.

I believe talking about it may solve a lot of these stupid rumors going around that the tabloids start, but he does NOT owe anyone anything on the topic. None of the 4 that are involved with this owe an explanation of THEIR personal lives to us.
Not talking about it will show he is mature enough not to get EVEN MORE rumors started.

Rob does owe the public any comment about the scandal. However, he has the power to end the scrutiny and comments by asking the public to back off from Kristen, himself and the unfortunate incident.

@hope – agreed. Pattinson has the power to shut it down. I think it’s wise to deal with it head on and take control. NOT talking about is giving the tabloids power to push him around. Kudos to Rob’s PR team for taking the reins and thinking things through; Kristen’s team is reactionary and doesn’t think its strategy through. She now looks like a pathetic mess. I think those who wants Rob to kept quiet are fearful he’s going to say these dreaded words on GMA: it’s over.

Maybe. But did any of you expect Rob to kick her out of his house and let the whole world see that he did? (or at least, let it be leaked he told her to get her stuff and get out?)
