A year after a 6-year-old boy died after falling from a staircase in his father’s mansion, a medical report now claims he was assaulted and then thrown off the balcony! Read on for more details.

Max Shacknai, 6, was found dead after apparently falling from a large staircase in his millionaire father’s spacious San Diego home while his dad’s girlfriend Rebecca Zahau was taking care of him. However, little Max’s death was the just first in a strange series of events.

Two days later, Rebecca was found found hanged, bound, and naked, from a balcony in the home.

Oddly enough, police declared both deaths solved, and millionaire Jonah Shacknai – Max’s father and Rebecca’s boyfriend — was not a suspect in either death, according to the Daily Mail.

However, Max’s mother and Johna’s ex-wife, Dinah Shacknai, was not satisfied and hired her own team of investigators.

According to a new report, Max’s death was a homicide.

Dinah hired the help of two medical experts, a forensic pathologist and an injury biomechanics expert, who both declared his injuries were consistent with being beaten. The injuries he sustained could not have been caused by a fall, Dr. Judy Melinek, the forensic pathologist, declared.

The Coronado Police Department said it would review the report and decide whether to reopen the investigation, according to the Daily Mail.
