For the first time since Rupert’s affair was made public, he and Liberty were spotted out together. A source reveals to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY why Liberty will only meet Rupert in public. Read on for the inside scoop!
Liberty Ross had been seen without her wedding ring in public, following news of her husband Rupert Sanders‘ affair with Kristen Stewart, but we hadn’t seen the couple together until Tuesday, August 7. The two were spotted leaving a Beverly Hills deli together, which, according to a source, is the only way Liberty will see Rupert.
A source close to Liberty, 33, tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that she insisted on the public place because she doesn’t want to be alone with Rupert, 41! “She wanted to meet him out some place, as opposed to going to one of their homes here in Los Angeles,” our source says. “I guess she still doesn’t want to be alone in the same room with him, especially not in their home where they have memories and children.”
“That was the first time she’d seen Rupert since he cheated. They both just talked briefly about the situation and what to do next. You know, like, ‘What do we do now?’” our source also says. According to an eyewitness to the encounter, the brief conversation wasn’t all that dramatic. “They both had coffees and were in conversation the entire time…very calm, no raised voices…There were no tears, no awkwardness whatsoever.”
However calm the meeting might have been, our source tells us that Liberty is still very upset over the betrayal, but she’s trying to move on with her life.
“She’s still heartbroken over all of this, but she’s incredibly strong and won’t hide. She won’t let his indiscretion keep her from living her life,” our source says.

Gossip cop said that it is true but rupert and liberty they were seen in front of a office building and then she went out to have lunch with a guy she works with and at that time she wasnt wearing her ring and they are pics of rupert eating a sandwitch alone and theres another when liberty is getting inside a car and rupert just stands in the sidewalk they look so distance from each other.I can’t bealive kristen destroy a family a home i mean she knew he was married the wife was her mother in SWATH both of them deatroy the trust that her bf or wife had for them imagine next year on the mtv movie awards if they win best kiss how awkard is going to be because i dont think robert is going to forget this i mean who can forget the person you love and thought loved you back would cheat on you with an older married man who is a father of two kids WOW rupert and kristen mess it up.
