On tonight’s episode of ‘Teen Mom,’ Tyler’s dad Butch goes to court for his arraignment, and doesn’t hear good news! Check out the video!
Last week’s episode of Teen Mom found Tyler Baltierra‘s dad back in trouble with the authorities for physical assault, and this week is his arraignment for those charges. Butch Baltierra shows up in court rocking a long rat tail, and decides to represent himself!
An extremely nervous-looking Tyler sits with his mom and Catelynn Lowell‘s mom (and Butch’s wife) April Baltierra, while they listen to the judge come down hard on Butch.
The judge calls Butch “foolish” for representing himself. Although he has spent his fair amount of time in and out of the legal system, we’re sure Butch isn’t qualified to play his own lawyer — why didn’t he just go with a public defender?
Butch asks to be let out on a personal bond to do some “research for his trial” (since he opted out of legal council), but the judge declares he can in no way let Butch out on his own, given his criminal record. He must stay in prison until his trial in November.
