Natalie Portman Wedding Dress — Get Your First Look

The star said ‘I Do’ in a traditional Jewish ceremony, where she walked down the aisle in an ethereal Rodarte frock.

Considering Natalie Portman goes way back with her long-time friends, the Mulleavy sisters, it comes as no surprise that the actress would enlist the design duo to craft the dress she wore on her special day. The star covered up in an ensemble that was appropriate for the traditional, moonlit ceremony on Aug. 4.

The tea length, a-line frock featured a sheer overlay that kept her chest and arms covered. While the dress was simple, the understated chic vibe seemed so consistent with the tone set by the intimiate ceremony. She finished off the look with nude pumps, a veil and a floral crown.

It looks like Natalie’s designer pals knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding day — and considering they have dressed her so many times before this comes as no surprise! For those of you who don’t remember, a very pregnant Natalie opted for a Rodarte gown at the 2011 Oscars, the same night she accepted the best actress award for her role in Black Swan.

And it was the Mulleavy sisters who crafted the iconic tutu Natalie wore in the film, where she met her future husband, professional dancer Benjamin Millepied, on set back in 2009.

What do you think of Natalie’s dress?

I love Natalie so much. She looks so beautiful. That’s really, really nice. :) I hope she has a happy marriage and life because she’s just so perfect.
