Rob is finally going to break his silence since Kristen’s scandalous affair! Read on for more details!

Robert Pattinson is gearing up to speak out for the first time after Kristen Stewart‘s cheating scandal!

The 26-year-old is scheduled to do an interview with Good Morning American on August 15. Rob will also be in NYC that week for the Cosmopolis premiere and a Q & A with The New York Times about the film. While he probably is just doing the interview to promote Cosmopolis, we can’t help but wonder if GMA will ask him about the affair.

Either way, we definitely will be watching this interview from start to finish.

Well i think he will but very little he would give that sad look in his eyes or that glumb look i know he will but i think its good 4 him to come up here in New York it will be good 4 him to get out of L.A for a little while u know 2 get his mind off of things 4 a while ( like Kristen ) it will be best i can’t wait to see that interview i love Robert Pattinson

Poor Rob, GMA will prod and push him for any little bit they can get about the affair but he wont answer and they will be told by his management not to ask ANYTHING about it. As soon as they do he will walk. It couldnt have come at a worse time; even more so with BDp2 coming out soon too…my heart just breaks for Robert. Those of u supporting Kstew/saying he should take her back YOU ARE CRAZY! It wont happen. Rob isnt that stupid. Cant wait till he films The Rover here in Australia, we will take care of him.

I honestly don’t think we’ll hear a thing about the affair. Rob is going on to promote a movie, a movie he is by all accounts very proud of, I don’t think he’d want his personal life to distract from that, more importantly I don’t think the STUDIO wants his personal life distracting from the film. I’m guessing that there will be strict limitations on all the questions that can be asked. ( Thats part of what Summit meant when talking about SAFE avenues to promote BD2) I bet anyone interviewing in the upcoming months will be told BEFORE the interview starts that NO questions about the affair will be answered and that to do so will result in the immediate termination of the interview. At best we may get a “how are you doing?” but nothing really about Rob and KStew. We’ll see…

The interview will be all about Cosmopolis but I’m sure GMA will slyly slip something in that has its implications.. But really, things will be pretty obvious when we finally see him. After watching 4 years worth of interviews, I can read that face like a book!
