‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ returned to the Big Apple this week only to have their Christmas party crashed by a trio of foul-mouthed band members! Plus, Sonja Morgan attacks Jacques!
On the August 6th episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, Sonja Morgan tries to move forward with her toaster oven brand, LuAnn de Lesseps expresses interest in having a baby, and Heather Thomson clashes with Ramona Singer — again!
Sonja had a business meeting with Heather and her partners, but when Heather’s arch nemesis Ramona tagged along, their progress only regressed. (What was Sonja THINKING bringing Ramona along?) Ramona sensed Heather’s discomfort and claimed it was a defense mechanism because she was threatened by Ramona’s business knowledge. (Yeah, right.)
LuAnn opened up to Sonja about the possibility of having a baby for a third time with her younger beau, Jacques, and Sonja let her know that motherhood isn’t always easy at her age. Sonja seemed a bit skeptical of LuAnn’s intentions — hoping she wanted a baby for the right reasons and not just to keep Jacques around!
Heather and Sonja met up again to discuss more business — this time without Ramona. Heather and her partner expressed how they felt insulted that Ramona tagged around during the first go-round. When it seemed like their progress on the toaster oven would never move forward, Heather tried backing out of the deal with Sonja. Unfortunately, Sonja claimed to be her client (Heather is actually helping her for FREE) and Heather felt backed into a corner.
LuAnn held a coat drive for the homeless — hosted by Life & Style magazine. The Countess and Ramona decided to finally hash out the ugly intentions behind the wine tasting incident! LuAnn denied any bad intentions while Ramona refuses to believe her.
Towards the end of the party, Sonja starts ranting that she “doesn’t believe it” — referring to the love Jacques has for LuAnn. Sonja cried and it seems like the pain she experienced from her divorce — several years ago — is still very present in her heart. (So sad!) The girl just doesn’t want to see her friend get hurt the same way she did, especially knowing LuAnn wants to have a baby with Jacques!
Obviously, the best was saved for last and a band that LuAnn hired for the party started dropping F-bombs and singing the most offensive, yet very funny, song I’ve ever heard in my life — immediately following a sweet Christmas carol nonetheless.
The band proceeded to sing songs about “f—ing people in the a–,” leaving many partygoers disgusted! But Carole Radziwill found it amusing and confessed she would love to hire them for her next party! (Send us an invite, please!)
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? What’s next for these housewives?
