Kourtney is absolutely determined to give birth to her daughter Penelope in the comfort of her own LA home, but after watching a woman in excrutiating pain, she’s not so sure anymore!
Kourtney Kardashian wants to have a natural birth at home, at least that’s what she thinks! On the Aug. 6 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney tells Khloe and Kim Kardashian that she doesn’t want an epidural for baby number two and that she actually wants a midwife to help facilitate an at-home water birth. Her sisters think she’s crazy!
But when Kourtney gets invited to go sit in on an actual water birth, she’s absolutely horrified! The woman seems calm at first, and then she starts shrieking in pain. Kourtney can’t handle watching and Khloe has to go into the room. The woman is screaming and saying “help me, help me!”
When the woman finally gives birth, Kourtney gets emotional and beings to cry. But does this mean that she wants to have her own water birth? Not anymore! Kourtney admits that it was incredibly scary and painful to watch.
As we now know, Kourtney gave birth on July 9 – in a hospital – to a beautiful baby girl, named Penelope Scotland Disick!
