Rob admitted he was never betrayed — one day before Kristen cheated on him with Rupert Sanders. Read on for all the details on Rob’s unfortunately timed confession.

Robert Pattinson made a naive comment during a press day for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 — one day before Kristen Stewart was caught making out with director Rupert Sanders.

On July 16, Rob was quoted as saying, “No, I’ve never been betrayed by people who are actually in my life, like my friends or even my acquaintances. No one has ever done anything.”

Unfortunately, Rob had no idea that his girlfriend of four years would cheat on him the very next day.

Kristen is reportedly devastated that she may have lost her “soul mate” over her “momentary indiscretion.”

If a good guy hangs out with a bad girl, that always makes me question:
1. Is he stupid? Which is a big flaw of a man.
2. Is he really as good as he seems? Or maybe he pretends being good, but in fact he is as bad as his girlfriend?
3. Is he a slug, who allows her to wipe her feet on him? That’s even worse.

wow,some of u robsten/twihards have really lost ur minds.i remember when someone asked how u all would handle it if sumthin happened and these 2 ‘broke up’,well,i guess now all of us normal fans
know….u don’t handle it so well.first it was denial of the pics,then it was they were photo-shopped,
then it was somehow rob’s fault for not pleasing her,etc.,then it was all staged so they could a)secretly get married,get out of this so called relaysh,etc. u name it & sumone has thought of it.and to me most of u conspiracy theory nuts r just tryin to find any reason other than the truth that is plain
to see,that u cannot accept it. it’s over. and how dare any of u to compare ur experiences with rob’s.
none of u have any idea what he is going through,so just stop acting like u do.
and for all of u defending her by saying that either she was seduced by rupert or she is just/only 22
need to stfu.no way in hell she was seduced and being 22 is in no way an excuse.people r married with kids at 22 or even younger.if rob meant as much to her as she is now professing,then she should have thought about that before she cheated with rupert.and to think,if it had been a few min.

I don’t believe no one has never betrayed him that is a laugh. Even the nicest people in the world are betrayed at one time. This site has become addictive for the stories that aren’t true, just wish someone from his camp would tell people to stop writing stuff that isn’t true….unless their reps are the devil and love that their stars are going through so much heartache. I don’t know why everyone is hushing people and that director isn’t getting smashed like kristen. This is such a sad thing…

I agree, the one thing Hollywood life likes more than a new couple, is a breakup. Honestly most of their articles are about couples and who’s dating who most of the time. There so called “sources”, are themselves.

The kissing and hugging in publuc she never did that with rob but she sure did it with rupert thats seems low if that would of happen to me i will talk to my partner and ask why he did it to have CLOSURE and move on because it dosent matter how much you love that person you will never forget what she did to you and whqt kristen did was harsh because she worked with the guy she knew he was married and had kids liberty play the mom of kristen in snow white and she was at the SWATH london premier with her kids i mean that was selfish of kristen and rupert to in the pics the didnt care who they hurt and in my opinion it didnt look it was a one time thing they looked really comfortable together and some ppl still bealive she was been force and it was onesided and thats not true both of them were getting into it.I just think that kristen is not the type a person who wants to get married and have kids she looks like shes really independant and robert looks like he wants to get married and have kids have a family so i think robert should just focus on his carrer right now.

Rob!!Pls. forgive Kristen! I hope you two all the best, it’s so sweet to have seen you two together.

When I was 24, my BF 25, been together for 3 years, his first love came back to him. I was away in Japan for half year job. We was planning to get into marry after I back.

He cheated to make her (maybe himself too) happy for a while. Then things went wrong. The girl sent me mails ask me to quit.
We ran through a long heartbroken way to make things back to plan, almost killed myself.
I got a hole in my heart, which took almost 5 years to cure. But I won’t regret my decision.

I mean, Think it over, follow your heart. That’s not something right or wrong, just your choice. You choose the road, don’t look back, you would find something better ahead.

Remember everyone SHE told Catherine H. during casting SHE wanted to do the movie with Rob (Basically giving him a jump to fame.), she doesn’t use him for his money, he sees beauty in a “normal awkward” girl like her over some busty supermodel (“Plain” girls have a chance then.), and she doesn’t use him as arm candy, and doesn’t use him for fame.

I AM SURE NO MATTER HOW UPSET/MAD ROB IS AT HER HE WOULDN’T WANT PEOPLE BEING RUDE TO KRISTEN.

Your comment is extremely funny since I am a retired grandmother and very happily married. I simply do not believe in hurting people–any people–if you do not want to be with someone just tell them, and don’t slip around behind their back. Remember: Kristen spent time with her lover and then returned to Robert at his home. The very essence of love is trust! In my opinion, Robert needs to move on because he will never again be able to trust this girl; she will do the same thing again and again.

That might explain why Kristen and Rupert were looking at the camera in a few of those cheating photos, and afterwards got out of the car to stand by the fence to give them a “better shot.”
Maybe why he was still seen wearing his wedding band weeks later.

The whole scandal was staged to throw the fans and the paps off their trail so they could get married in private. I’m completely serious. Not one person has come forward to talk about this. In fact all names mentioned so far are MIA. They’re all wedding guests. Rob and Kristen are probably the so called “source” the sites are getting any info from. They’re probably texting all the info to the sites from the private island they’re on right now for their honeymoon. There are syies out there like crushable that never bought this whole crap story to begin with and neither have I. HL is the only site where nobody wants to believe this was all staged. Open your eyes to the truth. I don’t think even a robsten wedding will make everything right again. They might think it will but they’re in for a rude awakening.

The mini cooper is 72 inches long from the edge of the dash board to the rear door. Subtract 15 inches taken up by Kristen, that leaves 57 inches. Rupert is 6 ft. tall, how was he laying flat on his stomach on 57 inches. He would have needed to have his feet hanging out of the rear of the mini cooper.
