Drake has dissed Chris once again by claiming to be the first person ever to ‘successfully rap and sing.’ Read on for all the details!
Drake and Chris Brown have always had a heated rivalry, but Drake has taken it to the next level!
“There were people who incorporated melody before me,” said Drake in an interview in The Jewish Chronicle, “but I would deem myself the first person to successfully rap and sing.”
Chris clearly raps and sings on many of his hit records, but Drake dismisses that by the rapper has simply “incorporated melody” along with other notable icons such as Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliot and Cee-Lo Green.
Drake continues, “Yes, there are aspects of it that are new in the rap world. But it’s not a gimmick. I just sort of exist and people embrace it. I’m one of the few artists who gets to be himself every day. It doesn’t take me six hours to get ready and I don’t have to wake up in the morning and remember to act like this or talk like this. I just have to be me. That’s one of the favorite parts of my life – I’ve done this purely by being myself.”
We think Chris may not take this comment too seriously. He knows that Rihanna loves him, not Drake — so Chris takes home the ultimate prize!
