Suri will attend the pricey Avenues private school in her Chelsea neighborhood starting this fall. Read on for all the details!
It’s back-to-school season, and Suri Cruise can’t wait to start first grade! Katie Holmes has enrolled her daughter in Avenues, a private school in their New York City neighborhood, that comes with a lot of exclusive perks — and a $40,000-a-year price tag!
Avenues overlooks the High Line in New York City, and is just a few blocks from their luxury Chelsea apartment.
“Katie has eagerly been telling Suri all about the lunchrooms, basketball courts and different activities Avenues offers,” a source told Life & Style magazine. “Suri’s really excited about it.”
The 215,000-square-foot-school has a fitness center and a rooftop playground, plus a gym that boasts full-sized basketball courts and volleyball courts.
Avenues also has a partnership with nearby Chelsea Piers, where Suri is already enrolled in gymnastics class.
Suri will learn Mandarin or Spanish, along with the standard first-grade curriculum: reading, writing, math, science and music.
