Miley reportedly was the victim of a prank known as ‘swatting’ when police raced to her home, suspecting an intrusion — only to find no one home! Read on for all the details!
Cops raced to the home of Miley Cyrus on August 1st after a 911 call reported a possible home invasion!
Unfortunately, when the police arrived to the home, no one was found — not even Miley, who happens to cover the September issue of Marie Claire magazine!
The LAPD responded immediately, sending a chopper, and officers with high powered weapons , who immediately set up a perimeter around the home with guns drawn, according to TMZ.
Cops reportedly determined the call was a false alarm — a prank known as “swatting” — after it was realized that no one was home.
The prank is described as when a “caller tries to trick emergency responders into dispatching law enforcement to a home by making up a serious crime.”
Police further tell TMZ that if the caller was a prankster, which it seems likely to be, the perpetrator will be arrested and face serious criminal charges.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should the caller be charged?

Although it is NEVER funny to prank involving 911, I wish someone would directly prank that shallow trashy gal. She does enough of it to others.
