Kristen Stewart didn’t cheat on Robert Pattinson with another attractive celebrity — she cheated on him with a 41-year-old married man who also has two kids.
Rupert Sanders is definitely different than R-Patz in many aspects and frankly I have no clue what she was thinking! She chose a man who is old and off-limits. I’m not condoning infidelity at all, but it’s not like Kristen has a secret affair with another Hollywood heartthrob like Zac Efron or Andrew Garfield. She kissed a man who frankly should have known better.
Rupert has been married for awhile now AND he has children. He is 41. He has 19 more years of wisdom than K-Stew. Kristen is a young 22-year-old who made a mistake and had a slip. She’s young and the thought of spending the rest of her life with someone, like Rob, was probably frightening. They’ve been together for four years and in your early 20s you’re still coming into your own and trying to figure out who you are. Unlike Rupert, who is 41 with a wife and kids — he probably has a thing or two figured out by now.
The affair between Kristen and Rupert wasn’t all Kristen’s fault and I think fans need to stop punishing and hating on her. She clearly made a horrible mistake, but I think Rupert really is the one to blame here. Rupert has been around for awhile and absolutely should have known an affair with Kristen was completely inappropriate.
Even if there was an attraction between the two, Rupert shouldn’t have ever acted on it. Rupert preyed on Kristen and he should be the one who is punished!
Kristen made a mistake, but she’s young. It’s better for her to stray NOW and experience this guilt and embarrassment when she’s 22, not when she’s 40-something and is married with kids.

Oh give me a break. They are both equally guilty. So she’s only 22 years old, so what, she knows her way around the block. She was aware that the man had a family, by all reports she was friends with his wife, and she says she was in love with her boyfriend. What, he threatened her with bodily harm if she didn’t have an affair with him? Shame on both of them.
