Universal Pictures says Rupert is still on board, despite his wife demanding that he never work with Kristen again.
When photos surfaced of Kristen Stewart kissing Rupert Sanders, the married director of her movie Snow White and the Huntsman, many speculated that Rupert would not return to direct the film’s reported sequel — but it turns out there are no plans to switch up directors just yet. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rupert will likely remain on Team SWATH.
The first Snow White banked an estimated $382 million worldwide, and Universal Pictures is very interested in repeating — or, preferably, increasing — that beautiful number with a sequel.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that can’t change. Rupert’s wife Liberty Ross reportedly demanded he never work with Kristen again, and considering Rupert is determined to repair his broken marriage, it’s entirely possibly that he will choose to back out of the project himself. Besides, unlike Kristen’s original contract, Rupert’s doesn’t specifically mention a second film.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Should Rupert direct the SWATH sequel, or should he do whatever it takes to keep his marriage intact?

Sanders should be fired. SW2 will make much less money or flop. People are running away from Stewart, they don’t want to give even a penny towards her livelihood. The movie, Cali, is dead in the water. Faithful fans are gone. Lots of them anyway.
