Kristen Stewart, 22, cheated on Robert Pattinson with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, 41, who happens to be married with two kids! Kristen released a statement on Wednesday July 25, apologizing for her actions, but consequently became one of the most scandalous cheaters in Hollywood!
Kristen is among a number of Hollywood stars who cheated on their significant others — both publicly and privately! Those stars include Brad Pitt, Ryan Phillippe, and LeAnn Rimes!
So while Kristen is attacked in the media, don’t forget — several other Hollywood A-lister rebounded from a cheating scandal! Perhaps Kristen’s career is NOT in peril! Let’s not forget that Kristen also just picked up her first post-scandal movie role with Lie Down In Darkness.

I’m not a follower of Twilight and have only seen the first movie at a girl’s night with my best friend so I have no real devotion to the gossip. That being said, with the constant coverage that this story is being garnered it is almost impossible not to read about it. For pete’s sake it was covered by my local news station! Anyway, the decision this girl made to get involved with a married man was incredibly stupid and selfish of BOTH of them. They each have partners they were committed too and if one tabloid site is correct, they were not going to leave their significant others because this “fling” was not love to them. It was lust, forbidden desire, mid-life crisis, *insert other adjectives here* pure and simple. Who knows the real story of the situation, only the people involved in this situation. People make mistakes and make poor choices but I have never seen someone so vilified as this girl. She did not murder someone or drown a bag of kittens and yet she is hated like the anti-Christ. How is what she did worse than cheating with multi-people then humiliating them publicly by comparing them to their mistresses (Jesse James), having children with mistresses and denying paternity (SChwarzenegger and Edwards) and screwing someone when your wife is dying (Edwards)?
