In a new court declaration, Katherine strongly suggests that she was tricked and kept away from her grandchildren. Read on for the details!
The Jackson family drama just keeps getting stranger. Though Katherine Jackson had previously claimed that the time away from her grandchildren that sent granddaughter Paris into a panic was simply a vacation, she’s now changing her tune, as she tries to obtain co-guardianship of the children back.
According to TMZ, Katherine has filed a sworn declaration with the courts, claiming that she was scheduled for a road trip to New Mexico to watch her sons in concert, but on July 14, an unnamed doctor showed up at her house and suggested she take a plane instead.
In her document, Katherine explains that she agreed because she believe the doctor was acting under the orders of her longtime physician, but when she got off the plane, she was in Tuscon, Arizona instead, where she had been set up at a resort. When she got there, she says her phone and iPad were taken away, the in-room telephone was disconnected, and the TV was shut off.
When she asked about her grandchildren, she says she was told “they were fine” and she needn’t worry. She said she did not know that she had been reported missing and that the children were in a panic. Katherine says, “At the time, I trusted the people I was with to be honest with me.”
In her documents, Katherine never says who sent the doctor to her house or who took her to the spa once she was in Tuscon.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Is this story getting weirder by the minute?
