Chris Brown has ‘mad love’ for Rihanna, and he’s not the least bit threatened by seeing Drake with her at the MTV VMAs! Read on to find out why!

When Chris Brown, Rihanna and Drake all arrive at the MTV VMAs on Sept. 6, don’t expect any fireworks, a source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

“He knows Rihanna isn’t into Drake like that so he isn’t tripping in the least. He’s hoping she wins,” a source tells us EXCLUSIVELY, even though Drake and Rihanna are up against Chris for Best Male Video of the Year!

Rihanna has five VMA nominations total — three of which are for her collaboration with Drake, “Take Care.” While it may seem like it could get ugly since Drake and Rihanna’s “Take Care” video is up against Chris’ “Turn Up The Music” for Best Male Video of the Year, a source tells us Chris only cares about Rihanna’s success and happiness.

“There’s no love lost between them. He [Chris] wants her [Rihanna] to win everything she’s up for,” a source tells us. “He got mad love for her, and if she and [Drake] win, of course [he's going to] support Rihanna because she’s on the track.”

So cute! We’re happy to hear this crazy threesome has moved on to better days!

I would love to see them together again too but I’m skeptical. Chris seems joined at the hip with Kae. So what if he ACTS a fool in clubs with the showgirls – she’s the one he goes home with.
