Sources tell HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Reese Witherspoon has been helping her Water For Elephants costar Robert Pattinson get through his very public breakup with Kristen Stewart, who cheated on him with married director Rupert Sanders. So what are the words of wisdom from America’s sweetheart?
“Reese has been a huge help for Rob,” our source says. “They have talked a lot because Reese has gone through her own really bad breakup and its worked out for her, so she has been trying to tell him that it only gets better and he should look at what she has gone through as the perfect example.”
‘What Reese has gone through’ has included a divorce from actor Ryan Phillippe, who she has two children with, and a high-profile breakup with actor Jake Gyllenhaal. But it seems the actress has finally found “the one” and is expecting her first child with husband and talent agent Jim Toth.
We love that Reese, 36, is helping Rob, 26, and think she is a perfect example of how someone can come out of a bad breakup a stronger person.

Rob and Kristen need to go away and be alone to talk, away from fans, paps, friends, etc. Only then can they decide what their next step is. Whether or not to stay and work it thru or split and find someone else.
