A new show on TLC explores the challenges of pregnancy in a new and unique way. The show follows two sets of mothers and daughters — and all of them are pregnant.
Move over Teen Mom – tonight we get our first look at My Teen Is Pregnant and So Am I. In the clip below, we see a mother and daughter duo getting sonograms — what should be an exciting first step ends in a crazy emotional moment.
In this clip, we see the Phillips family from South Carolina. Mother Melissa and daughter Kristen visit the doctor to get sonograms together.
“Us being pregnant at the same time is a situation that I never would have ever expected to happen,” Melissa says.
Kristen comments that her unborn baby brother “is cute” on the sonogram screen. “The hardest thing I’ve probably ever had to do was tell my mom I was pregnant. Scared and nervous and very disappointed in myself,” Kristen reveals.
Just before Kristen is about to get her sonogram, mother Melissa says, “I’m not ready to see this.” The scene quickly turns emotional with both mom and daughter breaking down in tears.

So they get paid how much? I seen on craigslist that the participants on sixteen and pregnant get $100 bucks to be on it. I think they only go for that to possibly end up making 5 figures a year to help with anything not realizing kids are emotionally and financially draining. This teen needs to give this kid up for adoption or should of had an abo… yes I think so. I think teens don’t have enough of a sex talk and this stuff happens and it’s BS.
