Robert Pattinson: Don’t Let Kristen Stewart’s Affair Ruin ‘Twilight’ For You

Rob’s life has been turned upside down after Kristen’s betrayal, but he shouldn’t let that tarnish his memory of the very films that made him a star.

Robert Pattinson was understandably stunned when it was revealed to him that his girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, had cheated on him. As we’ve revealed to you exclusively, he’s so hurt that a source close to him says that “Twilight is officially ruined for him.” But I don’t think he should allow this personal betrayal to destroy the memories he has of the films that made his career.

Before Rob, 26, stepped into the role of Edward Cullen for the first time in Twilight, way back in 2008, he didn’t have much of a career. Sure, he’d been a memorable part of 2005′s Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but entering the world of Twilight allowed for him to become the massively successful actor he is today.

Without Twilight, he most certainly wouldn’t have gotten to work on the projects he’s been so thrilled about lately, like Cosmopolis with famed director David Cronenberg or the period piece Bel Ami. He also wouldn’t have the considerable experience he now has, nor would he have the many friendships he’s made along the way.

I’m not attempting to diminish the considerable pain Rob must be in at the moment. Being cheated on is quite possibly one of the worst feelings in the world. When someone chooses to so callously betray the trust you’ve provided them, it feels like a sharp knife to the gut. And that stinging pain lingers for quite some time.

So, while I understand that the Twilight films are closely connected to Kristen in his mind, as they’re how he met her, I just don’t think he should put them in the same box with the other painful memories of Kristen that he’d like to avoid.

The Twilight saga means to much to Rob, professionally, and to his fans, to allow that to happen. It will be hard, but he owes it to himself to find a way to separate memories of Kristen from memories of the films.

Honestly, it’s very cruel to be limited only to point out to Kristen, she committed the error Rupers heed to this, but we know with certainty that happened in the relationship of Robert and her. I think if Robert really loves, to forgive and to remedy what has Kristen Selvage seek other arms. Because if it is true as they say that Robert had a close friendship with Emeli, must have distance to disallow doubt Kristen.

I understand that Kirsten Stewart did something to Rob that no-one ever expected but it doesn’t mean they should give up on everything or each other. I’ve always believed that RPatz & KStewart were and are still meant to be together and be a couple for an extremely long time, if not forever. Every couple makes mistakes especially Hollywood couples so I believe and hope that they get together and talk it over and become the couple they are meant and supposed to be because when these to are together and look at each other you can see the love that is meant to be seen in every couples.

So if by any chance Rob and Kirsten ever end up reading these comments (highly doubtful) they need to take in the belief I have in them both and be a couple again for they inspire everything that love is and make people such as me believe in love.

Kristen did something beyond wicked, she has not only devastated Rob, but she’s ruined the pasion & commitment for all of the Twilight fans. Certainly, this is outlawed and insane. A little too sad, my heart dropped once I heard about it. All of my simpathy & love goes out to Rob.

I think Rob and Kristen need to sit down with each other and talk. Yes Rob is hurting but he needs to ask himself why this happened to begin with. But THEY NEED TO TALK TO EACH OTHER. Not have everyone else do the talking for them. If they love each other and from what I see thats a big if then they can work this out together.

I share the same opinion and feeling as you do. Yes we “the fans” can say what “we” think should happen but it’s not up to us in the end. Rob and Kirsten need to figure out if this broke there love and not the fans.

bless you billy nilles for this article .if rob really wants to know how the hurt feels ,he should look at his fans and see how much we all hurt about this .my niece and another friend of mine,has not been the same since this news broke out .they feel so depressed.just like robbing poep on a very sweet memory——-twilight.but ,right now ,they have decided that nothing will ever rob them of that sweet memory.as for me ,i first love the book and then the movie.i still read the book over and over again.so help us fans billy to tell rob not to mess with our sweet memory of twilight,by feeling bad about twilight and not to allow anything to take that memory away from him——-no matter what it is .twilight made him who he is and he has to remember that and cherish it.no matter how heavy this may be for him,he has to move on.that is what men does when the going get tough like that.

Yes! Kristen is free of both of these douchebags, Robert and Rupert. They both took advantage of her immaturity and kind heart. They are both older than her and used her and ditched her. Now don’t worry, because Robert is his own worst enemy. He portrays himself as alittle innocent lamb around his parents, London friends and in interviews. Whereas, in reality he is the polar opposite. He is a sexual addict, hard partier and cocaine addict. He is a bottom feeder, that’s why he picks up skanks and one night stands. He thinks that he is being clever and vengeful with Kristen, but he will be the loser in no time. Just wait and see. He lost the best cover/beard that he will ever have. Kristen gave and gave and never received any quality time or affection from this creep. No wonder she strayed. She will survive, bounce back and strive. I only see happiness for Kristen after the BD2 promos. She just has to make it through that mes, and the producers will probably drop her from it all together anyway because of the death threats from Robsessed hags. She lost a lousy unloving boyfriend but will someday meet a good man who truly loves and adores her. Rob will only destroy himself.

that’s so funny when people talk about someone they don’t know!!!! you don’t even know Rob!!!! you don’t have the right to insult him!!!! he’s great the way he is! and he has millions of fans: fans that love him and support him no matter what!! so please don’t judge him! at least before you do that, make sure that what you say is correct! but in this case it’s not!! i know that’s what you think and you’re definitely free to see things your way! but robert pattinson is one of the greatest boyfriends ever!!! well, he’s amazing in every possible way! so please stop talking about him that way!! i don’t know wether he did really break up with kristen or not (i don’t think that this “cheating” thing is true!) but i know that he had respected her, supported her and been with her whenever she needed him!!!!!!!!!! they are great couple! and no one could doubt that!!!!

He’s been cheating since the start. He hooked up with Megan Fox AFTER the Twilight premiere in Tokyo when he first got together with Kristen. He was sleeping with Nikki Reed at the start of New Moon filming and Ashley Greene all throughout. He hooked up with that Erika Dutra chick in Cannes that year and Camilla Belle in NYC when she went to visit him there during Remember Me filming. There were rumors of him and Emilie de Ravin having and on-set fling that same summer during filming. He was cheating with Ashley Greene again during Eclipse filming that fall while Kristen was on set. There were the rumors of him leaving Leighton Meester’s apartment in NYC early the next year. He cheated with some burlesque dancer Caroline Jones during Bel Ami filming in London causing him to be late for Eclipse reshoots and also his co-star Natalia Tena who he’d already had a history with before too.

He cheated with Lindsay Lohan during Water for Elephants filming in LA that summer at Las Palmas and was photographed poolside with a bartender from Saddleranch crawling all over this lap poolside at a hotel that July after Kristen had already left for Montreal to being On the Road filming. There were rumors that he was going to co ke parties in Malibu and hooking up with sk anks like Teresa Palmer all that summer too. He was supposedly hooking up with Maggie Grace during Breaking Dawn filming while they were back in Vancouver spotted in her hotel while Kristen was back in LA. There was the Russian model Ana Colja who was interviewed saying how she’d been ‘close’ with Rob since attending the Oscars with him years back and they still saw each other all the time, hinting at a sexual relationship between the two. He was said to have been hooking up with his director David Cronenberg’s youngest daughter Caitlin during Cosmopolis filming that summer, hitting lots of late night hot spots and parties, spreading their DNA all over Toronto together.

Rob will stay in HW for a few years but he will never last there are better looking actors and better actors who can act better then Rob. Zack, Andrew, Josh, Liam the whole magic mike cast. Rob is cute but being honest there are only a handful of women who think he is the next best thing he will not last with the other male actors out there you will see go after awhile he should just do music. I hope he puts his money in a savings account and not waste it on beer . Kristen will be fine she will. E in HW for as long as she wants this will not hurt her many stars have messed up she is 22 yrs old she has good actress as well out there Jennifer, Emma and a few others. but this will not effect her career. Some have even said she may get more scripts it was a director on one of Laineys gossip site. She messed up and she knows it it owned up to it and right now the only ones who can’t let go are you guys.

He was hooking up with LA bar sk anks like that Shea Marie chick who tweeted she shared “Jameson and Gingers” with him at Jimmy Fallon’s Emmy after-party and went back to Rob’s house to hang out following. There were all the bars he was hitting in LA closing them down at 3-4am every night while Kristen was busy in London filming Snow White and the Huntsman, girls tweeting about sharing drinks and cigarettes with him on the patio and flirting with him. He only visited Kristen one time during filming and not again until the very end after they finished their international promo tour for Breaking Dawn 1. There were the Sarah Roemer hook up rumors that she went home with him from Soho House after they’d been partying with friends all night there and at La Poubelle. There were the Katy Perry texting stories that he’d been trying to console and hook up with her after her break up with Russel Brand–something that Kristen completely covered for him for I might add. There were the Lindsay Lohan cheating rumors AGAIN after that (didn’t believe those were true though-Linsday is too gross now even for bottom feeders like Pattinson).
