Bella Thorne, 14, styled her Rapunzel-length locks to perfection for this Laguna Beach, California party. The look is a cute twist on a tried and true classic hairstyle!

For Bella’s curled side pony, start off by separating your bangs and short layers from the rest of your hair and securing a messy ponytail at the nape of your neck. Using a wide barreled curling iron, wrap your entire ponytail around the barrel (no need for the clamp) going in the same direction. Repeat this step a few times to get a slightly disheveled look like Bella’s.

When you’re happy with your pony, set its piece-y texture with a styling wax like Herbal Essences Set Me Up Texturizing Wax. A tiny amount on your tips will hold your style in place and keep it from looking overly polished. Add a touch of wax to your bangs and short layers as well for an edgier look.
