James Holmes Claims 13th Victim In Batman Shooting Massacre

Ashley Moser, who was 8 weeks pregnant when she was shot three times during the Colorado theater shooting, tragically suffered a miscarriage on July 28. The total number of deaths from the massacre is now at 13. Read on for the tragic details.

Ashley Moser, 25, lost her 6-year-old daughter Veronica Moser-Sullivan during the ‘Dark Knight Rises’ shooting on July 20, and now she has lost her unborn baby at the hands of alleged shooter James Holmes. Ashley, who was shot twice in the throat and once in the stomach, is expected to be paralyzed from her injuries.

Ashley’s family broke the devastating news in a statement on July 28: “Ashley Moser is recovering from an additional surgery she has this morning. Tragically, the extreme trauma she sustained also caused a miscarriage,” they said according to The Sun.

“Our sincere appreciation goes out to all of those who have been sending well-wishes, prayers, and good thoughts to Ashley. Her lifetime of care will be a long road.”

Although the suspect James Holmes is facing 12 charges for first-degree murder, it is unclear if he will be charged with 13 counts.

One more thing to these do things by the book sheeple who will let who ever rule your every move as long as someone tells you it’s what your supposed to do. Because some chose to take their children who sleep during a movie instead of perhaps taking a chance with a stranger who could abuse them calling them unfit. I’ve never seen such idiotic comment. Do you think for one minute that a loser like Holmes couldn’t barge into a theater at any time day or night? I suppose your the same jgoodie two shoes that would then find fault with that too.

So sad!!! This guy should burn in hell. I can’t imagina the pain that she is feeling after losing both of her babies. I would kill myself if that happened to me and now she’s paralyzed too. This guy is a sick freak, he should be slowly tortured to death.

I read a story from this site saying she was much farther a long in her pregnancy and recently given birth to this child..

There was another pregnant woman there who did give birth to her son the Monday after the tragedy. She was actually unharmed but her husband was shot in the head and, last I heard, in critical condition.

Shame on you for pretending an unborn foetus is a person whose life has been taken! There was enough tragedy without adding up…

Veronica should never had been at a PG13 movie at midnight!!! That baby belonged in her home snuggled in bed!! Shame on all these unfit mothers dragging their little innocent angels to flicks completely inappropriate for their age!! Is this what young mothers consider quality time?? This baby should not be dead!! What a tragedy!!!!

He should be charged for 13 counts of murder. If the baby started growing, sooner or later is would start kicking which makes it alive. During s3x, a human being is created and that’s a life taken away.

Actually, you may or may not be correct. If she was showing and he could tell that she was pregnant then it’s 13 people. Another legal issue is whether the fetus was viable, i.e., could live outside of the womb; if so, it’s 13 people.

i think james holmes should be punished badly they shoud total up the amount of bullets he used and shoot him that many times and let him be in pain and torture just like he did to those people and there familys till he bleeds 2 death what sick minded idiot would even think of doing a shooting

I cannot even imagine how it would be to be in this situation: losing both my kids plus my ability to walk in the blink of an eye. So horrible it boggles the mind. Best wishes to the young lady.

On the other hand, why is there never anything written about her hubby or BF? I’ve only ever read about her and her kids. No mention of kids’ father. Hope he’s alright.

I also hope this serves as a reminder to other parents that young children should be in bed asleep at midnight. Also, this movie was much too adult for a 6-year-old at any time of the day.

i am pretty sure she was separated from her husband… (her 6 year olds father) i saw him being interviewed… he said they were separated

she was living with her uncle at the time of the shooting… anyways.. there are no reports claiming she was even pregnant… so not sure why they are saying she was.. she was struggling and starting a nursing school program..

i would be more sad for the loss of my 6 year old child… who i knew and loved and had grown into a wonderful person over an 8 week pregnancy! sad for her.. i cant even imagine..

This man was possessed by the devil. If you look into his eyes, he is like under a spell. I think evil walks among us and if we are not protected by God, Satan can walk right in and this is what is left. He is not insane, he planned it all,, and knew he was going to prison. He needs to be put to death so he can’t carry on his evil ways. I don’t think these kind of people care if they are in prison or not, because they can make a life for themselves no matter where they are. More and more of these monsters are surfacing, so if you are not within the light of God, better get there. Pray you never meet these monsters..
