We were riveted during the opening ceremonies for the 2012 Olympics and thrilled when the USA team finally made their appearance!
After watching almost every other country walk into the Olympic Stadium, we got a glimpse of our amazing United States team!
Dressed in Ralph Lauren uniforms, the team walked into the stadium to a crowd of 80,000 people!
What an amazing moment!

I cannot express how boring the opening ceremony was. I hung in there until the parade of nations finished. Sir Paul can go sit down now. He is not dynamic enough to be in a spectacular, remember the Super Bowl? I would have gotten more kick out of David Beckham if he had driven in in a pair of tights and boots and a pirate shirt and hat. Oh, that pirate shirt should have been opened to the waist. The spectaculars the UK are best at are the ones they do everyday and what we foreigners know them for. Nobody does the realm better than Brits.
