There’s no doubt the actress has had her fill of drama lately — and we love how she’s embracing a more down-to-earth lifestyle, even when it comes to her clothing!
Katie Holmes, the former Mrs. Cruise, doesn’t seem to have any issues with her new, single lifestyle — even if it does mean she had to leave the private jets and lavish ways behind! First we spotted her flying, (gasp), commercial, before hailing a cab like a true New Yorker — it turns out Katie is just like us! We first spotted her in the summery yellow dress on Jul. 7, when she headed into her lawyer’s office in NYC. Pairing it with a casual denim jacket and beige boots, she still looked stylish even if she had much more on her mind.
We’re sure she’s sweltering in the NYC heat, so we weren’t surprised to see Katie pull out the easy breezy summer dress yet again on Jul. 25, while on an ice cream trip with her daughter, Suri. On this occasion, Katie was hailing a cab — a major change from the usual private car or limo she used to take. We love this new side of Katie — and think it’s great that she’s a fan of the re-wear!

She looks old and dirty in this yellow clothes. And why is she wearing those boots everyday when it is so hot in NYC?
Katie H must have a lot of problem. She married a big rich star and instead of her being happy for having a comfortable life with Tom she’s like showing the world that she likes to live a simple normal life.
She should have married a farmer and live in the farm.
