Before their affair went public, Kristen spent time with Rupert’s children, alone, a new report alleges. Read on for details.

Everyone was stunned when news broke that Kristen Stewart had cheated on Robert Pattinson with director Rupert Sanders. But a new report alleges that Kristen had spent time with Rupert’s kids months before the news broke!

A source tells Radar Online that Kristen, 22, took Rupert’s daughter Skyla, 8, out for ice cream in Los Angeles in late May of this year, while she was promoting Snow White and the Huntsman through press junkets. “During the press junkets for [SWATH], Kristen was already close to Rupert’s kids,” the source says. “She treated his eldest daughter Skyla to ice cream in Los Angeles when there was a break in her press interviews back in the latter end of May.”

The source also alleges that Kristen’s affair with Rupert, 41, could have begun when the two were promoting their film. “At that time no one suspected anything was up – there was no reason to – but looking back at it now it seems pretty suspicious. “The affair could have started back then – and everyone was blindsided. Why else would you take out a married man’s kid for ice cream?” the source says.
