With accounts of Kristen’s infidelity just coming to light, the ‘Twilight’ actress reportedly already believes she will win Robert back!
It was only this morning that Kristen Stewart released a public apology to boyfriend of three years, Robert Pattinson, amidst reports of her cheating on him with Rupert Sanders, but the actress is reportedly “very confident” that she will win back her Twilight costar!
“Kristen is pulling out all the stops with Rob, completely apologizing and trying to make things right with him, but she is very confident that she is going to win his trust back,” a source told Radar Online.
The alleged affair between Kristen and her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert, was revealed when Us Weekly published incriminating photos of the two kissing, despite the 41-year-old director’s marriage to model Liberty Ross, with whom he has two young children.
Kristen responded with a public apology to Robert on July 25, stating, “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
It seems that the public apology is just the beginning of Kristen’s plan to get back with Rob. “Kristen is doing everything in her power to keep Rob from breaking up with her,” the source told Radar. “She knows how much he loves her and she really believes that she is going to keep him from dumping her.”
While details of the affair are still developing, Kristen is already trying to put the scandal behind her. “She wants to make it work. She’s trying to put this in the past and move on with her life with Rob,” the source says.

true love endures and forgives. if rob loves kristen more than anything else, and can’t contemplate a life without her, he will accept her at any cost and will work with her to rebuild trust and wait for her to mature emotionally. sometimes things like this need to happen to test the love and the relationship, and make it stronger. for rob to love and accept her wholeheartedly and truly love her means being able to forgive. for kristen to realize what she almost lost, and value rob more now and learn from this mistake — might actually make theirs a better relationship – if true selfless love exists between them.
