The comic actor, best known for playing George Jefferson on ‘The Jeffersons,’ died due to unknown causes — so sad.

Sherman Hemsley, who was so hilarious on The Jeffersons, has died.

Sherman, who was 74, passed away in his El Paso, Texas home, TMZ reports. The cause of death is unknown.

Sherman has no wife and no kids.
