Katie Holmes is definitely a smart lady.
The 33-year-old mom kept her mouth shut, but dropped subtle hints that she was leaving Tom Cruise just days before she filed for divorce.
Katie posed for a sexy photoshoot for the California lifestyle magazine, C, and did an interview with senior editor Kelsey McKinnon who says she never even mentioned Tom’s name!
“Going back over the tapes, there were signs: Holmes was certainly very aware of herself, laying a couple cards on the table but never showing her whole hand,” Kelsey tells WWD. “Most noticeably, the one name decisively absent from her lexicon: Tom Cruise. She never actually refers to him by name over pages and pages of transcription.”
Hmm! It sounds like Katie was biting her tongue!
