It ain’t easy playing two characters on the same show — much less two vampires on the same show — which is why I’m thrilled to announce Nina Dobrev‘s well-deserved win at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards! Nina took home the award for Choice TV Actress (Fantasy/Sci-Fi) for her dual role on The Vampire Diaries, beating out some of our other faves like True Blood‘s Anna Paquin and Once Upon A Time‘s Ginnifer Goodwin.

wow you guys are sad, Nina is first of probably the most beautiful girl ever inside and out. she is also down to earth. she is a great actor. i’ll admit elena is a little dull sometimes but thats just how the character is. when she plays katherine, she is amazing

No, nina did NOT deserve that award. I honestly would rather watch any show over hers because her acting is lifeless and full. I need someone to make me interested. She brought down the entire show for me.

I love she got the title she is an extroadinary actress and I love her beinga role modle for me.. (katherine Pierce). Hope she makes this season even remarkable.

Thank God. Now she can stop tweeting for us to vote for her. Only time she tweets is when she wants votes, bragging where she is going, naming a designer so she gets the clothes, or the quote thing. I call the quote thing her filler because if she’s not bragging she doesn’t have anything to say to us.

I think she deserved it, she’s an excellent actress and she’s well talented too. You guys know you’re jealous because she kissed Ian.
