Demi Lovato performed her hit song Skyscraper at Endfest 2012, a concert series hosted by 107.9 THE END, for all the victims of the shooting that took place at a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises.
Endfest took place on Friday July 20, less than 24 hours after the tragedy in Aurora, Colorado.
Mid-performance, Demi paused the song and said, “It’s really heavy on my heart today. A lot of you know what happened in Colorado at midnight last night. I just want to make sure we can get through this. And my heart goes out to Colorado — this song is for them.”
