Emily Maynard is an engaged woman!
But unfortunately for Arie Luyendyk, Jr. — it wasn’t to him.
On the After The Final Rose Ceremony on July 22, Arie took the stage right away to confront Emily after she devastatingly sent him home where he revealed to host Chris Harrison what happened after their love journey.
“I flew to Charlotte. I just couldn’t deal,” Arie told Chris. “I just didn’t think our story was over.”
Yes, you read that correctly. Arie FLEW to Charloette, North Carolina, to talk to Emily and get closure — definitely pulled a Kacie Boguskie. But once he got there, he felt like he was doing the wrong thing.
“I thought when I got there it didn’t feel right. I called her and I left her my journal and I wrote down everything from every day,” he said. “I was so in love with you and I wanted you to hear me through me journal. I thought once you read this you’d feel like I was so genuine.”
But Emily didn’t read it! So sad!
