Alex Sullivan Killed In Colorado Shooting On 27th Birthday

The family of Alex is now confirming that their son was killed during the Aurora, Colorado shootout on July 20 — so sad. Read on for all the details.

Alex Sullivan’s family reportedly spent 14 hours looking for him before they were notified at 8 P.M. on Friday July 20 — Alex’s 27th birthday — that their son was killed in the Dark Knight Rises massacre.

Alex was one of 12 people killed in the Aurora theater shooting.

“The Sullivan family lost a cherished member of their family today,” a release from the family said. “Alex was smart, funny, and above all loved dearly by his friends and family.”

A prayer vigil honoring the victims was planned in Aurora for 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
