Katie Holmes Forbids Suri Cruise From Wearing Designer Clothes

Suri is everyone’s favorite fashionista, but the 6-year-old is about to get a huge culture shock! Mom Katie doesn’t want her daughter receiving freebies and wearing designer duds anymore! Read the shocking details.

Suri Cruise has been known to rock some of the latest styles and beauty trends — and she’s only six years old! However, all of that is about to change now that Suri is living in New York with her mom, Katie Holmes, and attending private school.

Apparently, Katie doesn’t want her daughter to sport the high heels, pricey clothes, and lipstick that he is often spotted wearing.

“Katie has been returning unsolicited gifts and loans from designers for Suri since she arrived in New York,” a source told Reveal magazine.

“She’s issued instructions to remove Suri from all freebie lists. She’s also put the word out in LA to stop any mini-me diva products being sent her way.”

Even more, the source claims that Suri’s glamorous lifestyle was all Tom Cruise‘s idea, and Katie just wants her daughter to have a normal childhood.

“Tom loved to spoil Suri and indulge her, but Katie has other ideas,” the source explained.

It seems this new life in New York will be much different for Suri than before!

Thank You Katie. I have been saying this to my wife for the last 3 years every time I saw Suri in a magazine she is in some pumps and lips stick. Where do they let little kids do that at. They say they want to keep Suri out the spot light, well good luck. If you continue to let Suri dress like a little continue to be in the spot light getting negative attention.

There’s an interview of katie where she said that her father is a very controlling person!

So her father was the one who secretly connived with her so she could divorce tom c and get money from him and also use Suri so Suri could get millions from her dad and now wants to cut on suri’s clothing?

I am sure that katie is so insecure of suri cruise who is very fashionable at a very young age. Whether katie admits it or not, the press and paps follow suri not her.

Katie h wears that stinky brown boots everyday when it is so hot in NYC wwhich means she wants to cut/slash Suri’s allowance on clothes so she could use it for herself so she doesn’t look like suri’s nanny.

Suri will be receiving a lot from her dad so katie wants to have a piece of it.

Good job Mom! Kid’s need to be kid’s and they don’t need to wear million dollar outfits because Scientology says so. They need to grow and develope because that is what is important. As far as heels go their not even good for us adult women let alone a kid. Katie is doing the right thing and she needs to continue with that same attitude because in the long run it is gonna pay off. Just because your parents are wealthy does not mean everything needs to be handed to you on a silver platter. Keep up the good job Katie.

I have 2 little cute dogs and I always buy nice clothes for them. It is my husband who is working and he doesn’t mind because those clothes look nice on my doggies….SO IS IT WRONG IF YOU WANT YOUR CHILD TO LOOK THE BEST IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD?

You know I just read all most all of your comments that have been posted on here. And I think it’s terrible how everybody is putting Katie down. She is just giving Suri a NORMAL childhood. Taking her to zoos and parks and such. It is the same thing that your neighbors do with their children, specially during the summer time. But of course she is buying nice clothes for Suri, she’s probablly getting her ready for school. Plus don’t forget about the amount for child support which is meant for Suri to be well provided.

Suri is a beautiful kid but we rarely see this kid laughing or smiling. Suri seems not to be happy with what is going on around.

Don’t know what Katie H is teaching but honestly, Suri dresses better than katie. She’s really a fashionista so katie seems to be competing with her. Coz when Suri comes out in style all the paapzz want to get a photograpo of her. Never mind katie because she’s an unknown starlet anyway.

This article is all bull! Katie’s favorite store in Bal Harbor mall in Miami is the Dior for kids, where the cheapest dress is hundreds of dollars. She was photographed in one of those $400 dresses playing in the ocean the day after I seen her purchase it. Daddy may have paid the bills but mommy definitly did the shopping with no regrets, and let her ruin the dress the next day. She can pretend to come down from her high horse, but she also has a designer clothing line remember?

Suri cruise receives freebies and expensive gifts because she is the daughter of Tom Cruise. Nobody would care if she’s not and that’s wHat Katie should remember.

Tom is not different from any parents who want to spllurge or provide the best for their kids.

Katie Holmes has NO idea, if she is on foot or horse back ! ! ! ! ! In my opinion, she is not your ideal Mother, I wouldn’t want her as my Mother, thats for sure. Go ahead son, as long as its the best stuff on the street, you can have all you want” … seriously Carol Marks, do some serious soul searching as a parent/woman, then tell me what you said makes any realistic sense. I want the best for my children too, but not buy GIVING them anything they want.

These people on here on unbelievable. I have two boys of my own, I want the best for them…. but not everything is based in material value. Give your kids all they want, don;t teach them values, structure or how to earn anything on their own. They will live with you until they’re 35, you will take care of them, their kids, etc…. and when your old and need them to take care of you… well they’ll leave you in a rest home (because its too much work). Not teaching your child now… will only affect you and them later.

Wishing and hoping for Tom Cruise’s sake, Suri wants to be with Daddy, when Suri is old enough to make her own choices. The only thing Katie is really doing now, is making Suri a very unhappy little girl, with a very sad childhood, that Suri is NOT going to forget . . . All children want as children, is to be HAPPY and LOVED and feel secure as they grow-up. Suri is no different…. Suri should be living with her real Father and Mother, and having a normal happy childhood.

Every kid anyone ever heard of will want to live with the parent who lets them do what they want all the time – and that’s Tom. What it is not is a good parent. You have been over-dosing on dumb-down pills. Katie may have been the one in the store with Suri but their lives were what Tom said the way Tom said it. All you have to do is listen to him talk and it’s beyond obvious “Control freak” doesn’t come close to describing him. As for the pet store and puppy story, that’s a good thing, not a bad thing, and it’s about damn time. Katie is teaching Suri that you don’t get everything you want every time you go somwhere. Kids Suri’s age have no business doing what they damn well please and the fact that Mommy and/or Daddy may be able to well afford it doesn’t make any differen. Princess Diana would take William and Harry to McDonald’s and make them wait in line like anyone else to teach them to appreciate and good for Katie for putting her foot down.

Are you kidding? Lots of people go in to pet stores to see & pet animals they have no intention of buying. I do it with my children. We discuss in advance that we are JUST LOOKING AT THEM. It’s not any different than letting them pet a neighbor’s dog. Every time a child sees something they would like in a store that doesn’t mean it should be bought for them – I don’t care how much money the family has – that is not the point.
