[PICS] Tom Cruise Reunites With Suri In New York City

Aw, Tom finally gets to see Suri in person for the first time since Katie filed for divorce!

Tom Cruise ended filming Oblivion in California and flew immediately into New York to finally spend some quality time with his daughter Suri. Suri has been spending all of her time with mom Katie Holmes since Katie filed for divorce on June 29. Katie and Tom settled their divorce on July 7, and Katie reportedly retained full custody of Suri.

This doesn’t mean Tom won’t be a part of her life. The 50-year-old actor will have “meaningful” time with Suri, 6, according to his lawyer. He’s even been video chatting with her to make sure they stay in touch!

Tom was filming his upcoming movie Oblivion in Iceland and California and came to New York as quickly as he could after the movie wrapped on July 15. Tom was photographed walking into The Greenwich hotel in New York City with Suri on July 17. TMZ reports that Tom picked up Suri from Katie’s apartment, but never saw Katie and was in and out within five minutes. Tom plans to bring Suri to her gymnastics lesson at Chelsea Piers later today.

The two have promised to remain respectful of each other in order to be the best parents to Suri. They have agreed not to talk about each other’s beliefs. We commend Tom for being a man of compromise and allowing Katie to enroll Suri in a Catholic school.

It must be an emotional reunion for Tom and Suri — it’s only been a few days since the divorce settlement – and it’s a lot for a 6-year-old to handle. Tom will stay in New York “several days” to spend time with Suri.

Glad Suri can spend time with her daddy who loves her. Best for the both of them.

I am so happy for them both to be together, father and daughter. There is man y fathers out in this world whom have no contact with their kid(s). She sure is one lucky girl to have her daddy there with her! All the best you all!

And now Tom and the COS will be in PR mode to counteract all the bad press and sell him as the poor, sad, lonely Tom. I hope he doesnt try every way possibl to still audit her or influence her with twisted COS beliefs. Watch recent documentaries on Scientology – and I do mean actual docs not gossip blogs, entertainment shows or most mainstream news outlets who are paid and influenced to provide a certain slant. The facts about Scientology are DISTURBING to say the least.

So nice to watch Tom and Suri coz I get tired seeing Katie parading in NYC using Suri as an accessory.

Suri is their only biological child so it is hard for a 6 year old kid her parents separating.

Suri is a beautiful kid and her parents are lucky to have her.

I hop e they don’t screw up that kid. That kid should be wakling & get a chance to run. Shs nevered smiled. Too sad, Tom & Katie get a grip & save your child from developing into a mess…really think about it. Katie save your child.
