Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart — it’s so refreshing to see a celebrity couple that is comfortable letting their affection show in public. Thanks so much for loosening up!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, it was not so long ago that you two had your lips zipped and your body language underwraps when it came to your relationship.

Neither of you would acknowledge that you were involved in a romance despite all the evidence that HollywoodLife.com had to the contrary. We know all about your cozy dinners in the small city of Squamish, British Columbia, while you were filming Breaking Dawn 1 and 2.

And then there were the two romantic trips to the Isle of Wight in Great Britain, where you two celebrated New Year’s, two years in a row.

But it wasn’t until fairly recently that the two of you decided that it was OK to go public and we are so happy that you did!

First, Kristen Stewart let it slip that her “boyfriend” is English in an interview in British GQ.

But then you really decided to let the curtain come up on your relationship this spring, and it was wonderful to see. It meant that you felt so strongly about each other that you didn’t want to hide your feelings anymore.

You wanted to enjoy having a normal and supportive relationship and not waste time keeping it from your fans.

Rob, you made sure to slip into Kristen’s London premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman, along with your sisters and then the two of you were inseparable at the movie’s after party at Quo Vadis restaurant.

But the two of you REALLY let the cat out of the bag when you travelled together to the Cannes Film Festival where both Rob’s upcoming thriller, Cosmopolis, and Kristen’s drama, On the Road, were screened. That’s where you each walked the red carpet – though not together – at each other’s films, and then happily indulged in a steamy kiss caught on film, at the On the Road after-party.

Finally, at Comic-Con last week, you virtually went The Full Monty on your relationship.

When the two of you joined Taylor Lautner for an interview with MTV News’ Josh Horowitz on July 12th, you didn’t have to say that you were “in love,” but you made it completely obvious.

Kristen you angled your legs into Rob and leaned into him when you talked. Rob, you couldn’t take your eyes off Kristen when she spoke. There was no mistaking a couple in love! Then, the two of you were spotted holding hands.

But the icing on the revelations-about-the-relationship cake was when Kristen actually leaned into Rob on a Comic-Con panel and whispered, “I love you.”

Not only is it such a treat for your fans to have you go public after they’ve been guessing about and supporting your relationship for years, but you also are being a great couple role model.

You two are juggling your individually huge careers while being completely supportive of each other. You don’t allow your relationship to be torn apart by silly jealousies over attractive co-stars — neither of you ever so much as look at another potential partner. You are both totally loyal to each other and your relationship.

That shows that you each have tremendous trust and respect for each other and that you highly value your relationship.

In a Hollywood world of short-term marriages – can we say Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, Russell Brand and Katy Perry – you two are showing that big stars can still have a healthy, loving and respectful relationship and so can you.
