Morgan Freeman: It Was 'Wonderful' To Reunite With 'Dark Knight' Cast

The sun is finally setting on Gotham and Morgan EXCLUSIVELY told Hollywoodlife.com what it was like for the cast to come together for the last time! Plus, find out if he has someone in mind to play the next Batman!

At the NYC premiere of The Dark Knight Rises, Hollywoodlife.com asked Morgan Freeman how it was reuniting with the cast for the third and final installment.

“Wonderful,” the Oscar winner raved to Hollywoodlife.com. “If you had one successful movie and you go back and do another one, it really feels good. If you have two successful movies and you go back and do a third it feels even better.”

Many superhero franchises, like Spiderman, have been remade with a new, younger cast. We were anxious to know who Morgan thought had what it takes to be the next Batman if they decide to reboot the series. Unfortunately, he was torn.

“I wouldn’t have a clue,” Morgan said. “Young actors are coming out of the woodwork. They’re all over the place. And I don’t know a tenth of them.”
