Mitt Romney Disses Justin Bieber

Find out how the presidential candidate took a cheap shot at Justin!

In a July 17 speech, Mitt Romney said something that Justin Bieber fans might find unsettling!

“I’m ashamed to say that our president is handing out money to his campaign contributors,” Romney said in Irwin, PA. ”When he gave money –$500 million in loans — to a company called Fisker that makes high-end electric cars and they make the cars now in Finland. And it’s gotta stop.”

Romney scolded Obama for funding the Fisker company because he believes it is taking away jobs from Americans.

So, what do this have to do with Justin?

The pop singer also helped fund the Fisker company because he owns the expensive electric car — and he absolutely loves it!

Rewind and freeze! Mitt Romney didn’t diss the Biebs.

Romney was pointing out that Pres. Obama gave $500 million to Fisker and it wasn’t good use of the spending.

The only way that Justin Bieber is even CONNECTED is because he owns one of Fisker’s cars. Romney was dissing Obama for giving away the money rather than use it to help us get out of the financial debt. Trust me, $500 million isn’t going to get us anywhere near getting out of our near $16 trillion of debt, but it could have been used for something else.

HL, keep the political talk out of your webloid when you clearly don’t know how to spin a story properly.

As long as we’re getting our facts straight, the DOE loaned Fisker $193. That’s right a loan, which is being paid back by the company. Of course it’s probably ok to grant oil companies tax breaks, which you and I pay for, but not loan money to an American car company, which has the potential for making us less dependent on oil. Yeah, that makes sense. Yes, I know the Fisker is made in Finland. But, it is an American company, just like Apple is an American company despite making it’s products in China. A little more support of American companies will do us all some good.

For as much as I detest JB, I feel compelled to defend him from this inaccurate article. The Fisker was a gift to JB from his manager. He did not purchase the car.
