The leading ladies of the summer blockbuster both opted to wow in white — but who should be the reigning red carpet queen? VOTE!

All eyes were on The Dark Knight Rises red carpet at the NYC premiere on Jul. 16, where we saw major star power strut their stuff — but nothing stole the spotlight quite like the two leading ladies of the highly-anticipated film! Anne Hathaway might be the latest lady to reprise the role of Catwoman, but rather than channel her vampy character in a dark number she was a vision in a white gown — it was premiere perfect! While we loved her plunging peplum Prabal Gurung gown from the most recent resort collection, she wasn’t the only star to show off in the summery shade!

Fresh off the release of her Vogue cover, Marion Cotillard took the NYC carpet in a feminine Christian Dior frock. The ivory dress, complete with ruffle skirt, was paired with edgy Christian Louboutin ‘Lady Max’ heels. Marion didn’t overdo her look, simply pairing her ensemble with Chopard earrings. While I liked the contrast of the pumps, her orange eye makeup left me befuddled. Marion usually sets the bar high on the carpet, and while her dress was feminine and flirty the overall get-up just wasn’t my favorite.

As for Anne, the star hasn’t really pulled out the glamour recently quite like she did last night — and we’re so happy to see that she’s back and bringing the ‘wow factor’ on the red carpet! With a cowl back and an exposed, embellished corset, the intricate detailing on the dress was perfection.

Which ‘Dark Knight Rises’ star stole the spotlight and deserves to be best dressed?
