We can all breathe a sigh of relief – Ryan Reynolds is still technically a single man!
A source close to Blake Lively tells us EXCLUSIVELY this isn’t true – despite rumors that surfaced over the weekend claiming that Ryan and Blake secretly tied the knot.
UPDATE: Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively Married Secretly In South Carolina — No Police Mishap This Time!
“This is just a rumor,” a source very close to Blake tells us.
The marriage buzz started when TMZ reported that a police officer referred to Blake as Ryan’s wife in a report that Ryan filed in Bedford Hills, New York, on July 8 after he claimed a paparazzo was following him saying, “Upon arrival, I spoke to Ryan Reynolds and his wife,” in which the name is now blacked out!
The report also says, “Mr. Reynolds and his wife were advised to contact police should any persons enter their property.”
HollywoodLife.com spoke to Sergeant Howly of the Bedford, NY Police who told us, “No one in the department can confirm whether or not Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are legally married or not. The officer that responded to the July 8 incident either made a mistake when referring to Blake Lively as the wife of Mr. Reynolds, an assumption or was indeed correct. We can’t confirm this.”
Hmm! Guess it really was just a mistake by the police though!
