Russell wreaks havoc, Sookie leaves vampires behind and Godric returns! Watch the new trailer and prepare to have your mind blown.
A brand-new trailer for the second half of True Blood‘s fifth season debuted July 14 at Comic-Con — and I had to watch it three times just to fully grasp what the heck was going on. Not only does Sookie (Anna Paquin) appear to give up her powers and actually forget Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Bill (Stephen Moyer), but Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare) also begins a killing spree, triggering a war between humans and vampires!
Here are my burning questions from the trailer:
1. Is Sookie giving up her powers? Sookie is seen getting some supernatural work done by a group of strangers — possibly fairies — while a voiceover features her pining for a “plain ol’ regular life.”
2. Is Sookie also forgetting Eric & Bill? A follow-up scene features a surprisingly stoic Bill telling Sookie that she will remember nothing of him and Eric. “It will be as though we never met,” he says. “And you will live your life as you were meant to live it. Human.”
3. Is Tara becoming an evil stripper? She’s been a cage fighter, a witch, a lesbian — and now she’s a pole-dancing vampire. But will Tara (Rutina Wesley) use her fangs for good or for evil? “You’ll be seeing me again,” she tells her mom.
4. Is Jesus coming back? “He’s in trouble, LaLa,” Ruby (Alfre Woodard) is seen telling Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), before viewers are treated to a shot of Jesus’ (Kevin Alejandro) head on the hand chair. Then I think she says, “He with an evil man.”
5. Is Arlene becoming a ghostbuster? The charming Iraqi woman who cursed Terry (Todd Lowe) is seen in Bon Temps — right before Arlene (Carrie Preston) is seen going on the offensive! We also see Lafayette holding a seance to contact the woman, and he informs everyone what they already knew: “She. Is. Mad.”
6. Are Jessica and Jason done? Jason (Ryan Kwanten) appears to have suddenly changed his tune when it comes to Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll). Actually, when it comes to all vampires! “You say you’re not the same — but really, what’s the difference?” he asks Jess.
7. Does anyone care about werewolves? Alcide (Joe Manganiello) apparently accepts his new position as Pack Master.
8. Are Luna and Sam becoming vigilantes? With the shifter hunters still on the loose, Sam (Sam Trammell) and Luna (Janina Gavankar) take it upon themselves to stop anyone else from getting hurt.
9. Who is Alcide having sex with? It looks like Sookie missed the chance of a lifetime! Alcide is seen stripping down and hopping into bed with an unidentified woman. She kind of looks like Debbie Pelt. Could it be a flashback?
10. Was that Godric?! Yes, that was Godric (Allan Hyde). Get excited.

, i think its great that Anna and Stephan are married and having twins ,as i can see they have great chemistry from the show and pics off the screen , two great actors way to go , and congratulations .
