Poor Connor! Tom Cruise’s son is reportedly devastated about his father’s divorce and is sad to have lost a step-mom. Will he have a relationship with Katie?

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise‘s divorce doesn’t just affect Suri‘s life — Isabella and Connor are also caught in the middle of their father and step-mother. And now, it seems like the divorce is taking a toll on Connor, 17.

Tom’s son has been supporting him throughout the divorce, flying out to Iceland when the news first broke and visiting him on Wednesday at the Oblivion set in California.

But his support of Tom doesn’t mean he doesn’t care for Katie. A source tells Us Weekly, “Connor is actually really upset about [the divorce]. Katie was practically his mom. He called her mom, too.”

Although Connor was adopted by Tom and Nicole Kidman, Scientology prevented him from being close to his mom. Now, it seems the religion, which doesn’t allow interactions between church members and a “suppressive person” (someone who have left Scientology), will be getting in between Connor and a second mom.
