Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes‘ first major Hollywood supporter is speaking out. Jennifer Lopez surprisingly spoke in depth about Tom and Katie’s divorce and she compared it to her own divorce from Marc Anthony.

“I’m sad for them,” she said. “They’re both really lovely people, and just like Marc and I, it’s not what you want to happen. You fight and you try until you realise you can’t anymore. I just wish them peace in their decision.”

But J.Lo, a mother of two, says that the main focus should be on their six-year-old daughter Suri Cruise and kids Connor and Isabella.

“And really for Suri and their other children as well,” she says. “Because you become such a family, it’s not just Suri, it’s Connor and Isabella and everybody, you know, you all become a family. And when that breaks apart, nobody wins; everybody’s heartbroken in some way. And I just wish them peace.”

Kate was reportedly granted sole custody of Suri but Tom has “generous” visitation.”

jlo is a scientology apologist, her dad is one after all. she is hitting the media to humanize tom and make the public see that oh my he and the other children are hurting in this too. interesting how she uses “their children”when referring to connor and isabella when they are actually his and quite clear in that. not even nicole, their adoptive mother could keep contact. sure katie and suri are sad and this is not waht everyone hopes for when they marry and form and family but tom and his church ruined this from the get go. and amen for katie getting the hell out and saving her daughter from a grim future.
