I saw the movie in Germany. It was boring and senseless. We were annoyed after ten minutes and thought about leaving the cinema. Robert is a great actor but the movie sucks!

Some will love this movie, others won’t. That’s a given really with this type of film. You have to see it and decide for yourself. Expect it to be different from anything else.

NO, one does not have to spend money to see this decadent rubbish. The trailers provide more than enough to enable one to be revolted. Pattinson himself has wondered who would go see this other than to see him.

Cosmopolis is deplorable decadent rubbish with nothing redeeming about the film. Pattinson was so terribly ill-advised to careen so recklessly away from his fan base. Moreover, according to his own testimony reported elsewhere, he was repeatedly duped by Cronenberg into numerous impromptu sex scenes of which he had not apprised pior and for which he felt like a prostitute. Pattinson seems to have recognized the damage done to his heretofore decent acting career (Bel Ami notwithstanding) and is in damage control mode while attempting politely distance himself by diverting attention to his musings on playing Bond in the distant future.
