Katie Holmes has settled her divorce with Tom Cruise, leaving her with primary custody of their daughter Suri Cruise, 6. But Katie still fears that Tom could change his mind and take Suri at any moment, according to sources close to the actress. Find out what’s really going on behind Katie’s brave face.

Katie has frequently stepped out in public since her infamous divorce filing on July 29, armed with an ever-present pack of security. But her strong demeanor is hiding a plaguing anxiety.

“Katie’s putting on a brave face to the public, but behind closed doors she’s living in fear,” a source close to the actress told OK! magazine.

“She is going to fight for her daughter,” the friend continued. “She refuses to walk away without a fight, knowing that if Suri is left in the clutches of Scientologists, they will do everything they can to indoctrinate Suri against her.”

Although Tom’s lawyer deny there is any truth to her fears, those close to Katie aren’t so sure. And it’s not just Tom she is up against — it’s his entire religion, too.

“If the Church thought they’d have to kidnap Suri to guarantee her survival, I think they’d do it,” Margery Wakefield, Scientology critic and former member said to OK!

While Katie continues to protect Suri and integrate back into everyday life, she still doesn’t trust the people in the Church.

I have never seen anyone who is scared of safety and yet go out on the street everyday.

Katie H must not be telling the truth. She said that her father is very controllling and yet he is a Catholic who helped her with this plan.

She knows tom’s into scientology and get pregnant after dating for a few months, married him and after 5 years she divorced him because of his religion.

Now she’s scared of Suri’s safety so she drags her daughte all over Nyc almost everyday.

Katie the starlet is claiming that she is scared of suri’s safety when she’s the one parading Suri on the streets of NYC everyday!

If she is scared then why not hide inside their house and going out everyday.

Gosh, I hope Tom did do any damage to that poor child whisking thru traffic and flying her away… He sure knows how to tops ice cream n museum trips……

Katie just needs to keep reminding Cruise of all the nasty secrets she knows about him and his cult and her willingness to go public if he tries anything stupid with Suri.
