Having just settled her divorce from Scientologist Tom, it appears Katie has returned to her old religion, Catholicism. We have exclusive details!
When Katie Holmes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise in early July, there was speculation that she was trying to remove herself from Tom’s Church of Scientology. She may have been motivated to file to prevent her daughter, six-year-old Suri, from being indoctrinated. Now, there are new reports that Katie has joined a Catholic Church not far from her new apartment in New York City, and we have the exclusive details on it.
According to Huffington Post’s Rob Shuter, Katie registered at the Church of St. Francis Xavier on Monday, July 9. Multiple sources at the church tell HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that “fellow parishioners had been talking about it.” While none of the sources have seen Katie herself there yet, they reiterated, “… all day, people were talking about it.”
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do YOU think Katie has really joined this new church so soon?

Good luck to both Katie and Tom in the future. You both have shown such character and dignity with the rapid way you settled the divorce. You are both wonderful people, and I wish you both great success and happiness in your futures. Continue to work together for the well-being of your precious daughter Suri. May God bless you both.

Welcome home, Katie. :) Look forward to possibly seeing Suri want to attend World Youth Day when she is older! Peace be with you.
