Savannah Guthrie Makes Her Co-Anchor Debut On 'Today'

After being a part of the ‘Today’ show team for several years, Savannah made her official debut as co-anchor of the ‘Today’ show — click to watch!

After the controversial firing of Ann CurrySavannah Guthrie made her debut alongside Matt Lauer as the new co-anchor of Today on July 9.

Savannah previously served as the co-anchor of the third hour of Today and Chief Legal Correspondent for the show. Matt welcomed Savannah to her new position by announcing,”I’m pleased to be sharing this new day with Savannah Guthrie who, after several years of playing a great role on this program, takes a step forward this morning and joins us as co-anchor of Today.” Savannah told viewers,”It is a thrill and an honor to be here.”
