What should I wear when meeting my guy’s parents for the first time? — Debbie L. in St. Louis
When meeting your beau’s parents for the first time, dress to impress. Think classics versus trends and keep your outfit simple and understated. You can’t go wrong with a solid colored sheath dress in a length at least as long as your fingertips, accessorized with a fun necklace and nice pumps. You want your boyfriend’s parents to remember you, not your outfit. CHIC!
What’s the best makeup for hot summer days? — Lily M. in Chicago
Less is more when it comes to makeup on hot summer days. I can’t live without my Smashbox Camera Ready BB Tinted Cream with SPF 35 for matte coverage. You can brighten up your face with a touch of bronzing powder and keep your lips neutral by using pinks, corals and browns. I carry Shiseido blotting paper, which I use for quick touch ups to decrease shine throughout the day. HOT!
What’s the best thing to bring to a dinner party? — Alex Z. in New York City
Besides a hot man, the best thing to bring to a dinner party is a good bottle of wine (I love Rosé). A scented candle is always nice or for foodies, bring a great desert. The most important thing to bring to a dinner party is an attitude of gratitude for all your host’s hard work. BON APPETITE!
