After five years of marriage, Katie Holmes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise. In that time, Katie has become known as “mom” to Tom’s kids Isabella and Connor Cruise. Unfortunately, their relationship may be tarnished as Katie is reportedly being pegged as the enemy in their split!
An ex-Scientologist tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “People need to wake up to the truth about Scientology. The so-called church is ripping apart families and brainwashing people. I am disgusted and shocked that someone like Tom Cruise buys into all if this craziness. I am appalled that Hollywood supports him! Katie is being tormented right now without a doubt, she is being told that she is an enemy and a bad influence!”
Not only does the source suggest that Katie’s relationship with her stepchildren be ruined as Nicole Kidman’s was, but her career will allegedly be a target as well!
The source continues, “Connor and Isabella who once called Katie ‘Mom’ will be manipulated to see her as the enemy. They will command them to ‘disconnect’ from her. How can a church call anyone an enemy? They will try and intimate Katie and want to even convince her own daughter that she is the enemy. All of us who have escaped have been intimidated. They will try to ruin her life, her relationship with Suri, and her career! What saddens me is that Connor and Isabella will no longer have anything to do with the loving person they once called ‘Mom’!”
Katie, 33, reportedly met with her divorce lawyers on July 6 and 7, most likely trying to move the divorce ahead as quickly as possible with a settlement, so she can move on with her life!

For those who say that the religion can’t be the problem since she knew about it from the beginning, I’m sorry, but you’re sadly mistaken. Few people know how frightening Scientology really is. Many people hear rumors about it being a crazy alien cult, but when you walk in those doors, there are no aliens. Unless you research it in depth, you’re likely to get everything explained away.
If you love someone, you will also use some of that amazing Orwellian doublethink to tell yourself that it’s not as terrible as critics say (after all, a lot of what they say is not stuff you immediately see. It starts to show afterwards).
Sure, there could be personal problems unrelated to the church. You know what though? It doesn’t matter all that much because the church will get involved in some way or another. If they even suspect you might be leaving, things go crazy.
The fact that she used a disposable cell phone shows that she was afraid of them. It doesn’t mean she has something to HIDE as all the OSAbots seem to want people to think. The thing she’s hiding is her departure and the one she’s hiding from is the church. Anything else is irrelevant because the church is going to try to tear her whole world apart now, and even if she is a bad person (I have no way to know; I’ve never met her), no one deserves what Scientology tries to do to members that leave.
There might be a Tom vs Katie thing going on, but the biggest battle she’s going to have to face is with Scientology itself because that affects so much more. Other personal relationships, her reputation, and anything else Scientology can try to take away from her.
I’m so glad she’s left. I’ve been waiting to hear this, and I wish her the best of luck.
