E.L. James shocked fans by saying the sexy couple needs to stay away from the movie — find out why!
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart – as well as their Twilight characters Edward and Bella — were the inspiration for Fifty Shades of Grey, but author E.L. James says she doesn’t want them to star in the film version!
E.L., 48, thinks that casting Rob, 26, and K-Stew, 22, would be a disaster, the New York Post reports.
“I think it would be too strange,” she said at a recent UK fan event. “It would just be . . . Ugh, weird!”
That said, E.L. admitted that she has to keep her opinions to herself when it comes to casting.
“[I have] four people in mind” she said. “[But I can't discuss the film], which is a real shame.”
Do YOU think Rob and K-Stew should star in the movie, HollywoodLifers?

E.L. james has forgotten where she came from. She wrote the books with Rob and Kris in the roles. She has put them to the side like she did to the Fanfiction Community, herr beta readers and the publishing houses. She has over rated herself. I will not see the movie if Rob and Kris are not casted in the roles. I’m sure many Fanfiction people agree with me.

This is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve read when it comes to casting and the movie. Not because I hate Robsten (I love them) but because E.L.James, who originally wrote Fifty Shades of Grey as Twilight fan-fiction, is saying that the people she based Christian and Ana on shouldn’t play them in the film version.
Rob and Kristen play Edward and Bella in the Twilight films and were probably who James imagined as the characters at the early stages of writing the novels.
Personally, I think it might be better for less well-known actors to be cast as the main characters in the Fifty Shades films as they will be life-changing for the actors and Robsten are already the most wanted young actors in Hollywood right now but I still think it’s stupid for the author to say that they shouldn’t be cast when she practically wrote the novels with them in mind.
Just my opinion though.

do i think that she is right ? …….no…no..no…
do i think that she is a little silly?…. maybe, the question is :why she doesn’t need such famous actors? maybe she is to confident in her self or in her book, or she doesn’t need stephenie meyer’s fame…..but if i was in her place i would chose them for sure, becouse weirdness in our time is very cool thing, just for you to know E.L.James….

who ever you guys finally cast for the fifty shades ,make sure is the right one that will make the movie really believable .this movie will also be for the mature minds and not for kids. experienced and mature actors are really needed.and please stop playing around and give us the movie please .i cannot wait to see it.i hope you do not go cutting some aspect of the book in the movie out like twilight,or else it will not befifty shades any more.

I don’t want these two to play the role, the reason is that it would be just just another Twilight movie, plus Christian is very, very muscular and in my mind he’s just… how do I put it? HOT!!! I mean Rob is good looking in his own special way. And Ana, well, Kristen just doesn’t do it for me.

OK folks. Talking about a movie here. (Acting) These two actors do a really fine job at all they do.,so yes, I think they should do this film (if they want it) and no, of course, (if they do not want it) As far as hurting careers here…it’s a job.,not a life long commitment. How many actors do all sorts of films but it doesn’t hurt them long run if they get a bad one. Take a chance..you live only once! They might make this movie exceptional…Who knows!

They are establish actors/stars they don’t need this porno trash. The only actors who should be playing parts for this movie are the one’s who are desperate to make a name for themselves. I feel sorry for the
the actress (not for the actor) who will play Anastasia because this can ruin her career when it’s all over. The only way the movie will be interesting is they make it as graphic as the book.

Sick of Kristen and rob

This movie is not going to be for twilight fans who are mostly teenage girls. This movie is based on an adult almost borderline porno so it can’t be all about twilight fans because they aren’t old enough to even be able to see it in the theater! Give us adult actors such as MATT BOMER and Katie holmes. Matt oozes dirty sex and confidence and Katie 1 needs a big break to get back her career and 2 can play innocent and shy and transform into confident and sexy. Enough with the mediocre acting of rob and Kristen. Let’s have something new and directed at an age appropriate audience
