Katy Perry is on top of the world right now with a hit movie, Part Of Me, in theaters, a hit song in “Wide Awake,” and a cute guy, musician Robert Ackroyd, to cozy up to! But Katy’s not falling in love that easily after divorcing Russell Brand! In fact, she’s not even “down on love” at the moment!
Katy recently told USA Today that there is no romance with her and the Florence + The Machine guitarist. She said, ‘That’s not even appropriate to label.”
Katy continued, “There are times I go out and meet people and flirt, but it’s not really appropriate to have anything serious.”
Part Of Me features Katy’s heartache after splitting with Russell. And while their parting happened many months ago, Katy is not ready to look for love again!
She said, “I have a second chance on life. To get maybe a better situation. For me, right now, I’m totally not looking. I’m just looking to heal. And I’m on that path. I’m not down on love.”
Even when Katy is ready to find love, her outlook on life is totally different now! “My fairy tale has absolutely changed. I don’t need the Prince Charming to have my own happy ending.”
Katy added, “I can make the happy ending myself.”
